Paid Internship During Diploma Recognition
Nursing interns receive a monthly salary of €1,600–1,800 (gross) during the internship period.
As part of the diploma recognition process for the profession of registered nurse, participants complete practical training in patient care for people of different age groups.
Interns’ responsibilities include comprehensive care and support of patients at various stages of life and across different care settings.

The program includes 2,100 hours of theoretical and practical training.

Salary After Diploma Recognition
After completing the internship and obtaining full recognition of your nursing qualification, you can start working as a registered nurse in Germany with a salary of €3,656 per month (gross).
With increasing professional experience or additional specialized training, your salary can range from €3,700 to €5,232 per month (gross).
*All amounts stated are gross and based on full-time employment (40 hours per week), including tax-free allowances and other applicable bonuses. Salaries apply to direct patient care positions.

Who can apply for nursing diploma recognition in Germany?
Applicants with a completed nursing education, a diploma with transcript, and at least A2 level of German can apply for the diploma recognition program. Previous work experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
